My DoN Fletching Progression Idea.........

I was looking at Trivials today and thinking what im going to do to get from 250 to 300 heres what i got so far:
255= Shadewood bows
268= 1 Cam shadewood bows
282= shadewood compound bows
300= Blessed Champion Arrows they Trivial at 335 for woodies

I am a Woodelf of Tunare. I was wondering what otehrs may be doing? and maybe if there is any alternate routes that may be more cost effective?

I'm at skill 282. I did some acrylia arrows but mostly shadewood bows. I can't make blessed champion arrows or I'd do that to 300. There ISN'T ANYTHING for non-wood elves to make, we're just stuck at 282.

Lien, I'd suggest that as a wood elf, you do ONLY the mithril arrows for skilling to 300. Unless I'm sorely mistaken, it is cheaper per combine (even with the relative lack of selback on successes) on a success, to say nothing of a failure.

I'd suggest checking out the new fletching book (called something like "A Letter to My Friends") available at least in Abysmal Sea, and if you have DoN, farming in the new zones. I know Drake Spikes can be foraged or looted in Broodlands, and Drake Wing Bones at least looted there. If you don't have the expansion, look for those on friends or vendors. Some combinations of these items with normal fletching vendor purchases have high end trivials which will help you.

Actually, non-wood elves CAN make something to 300. Blessed Guardian Arrows. Trivial same as Blessed Champion Arrows. Only problem is... is the surefall fletching kit working yet? I heard i have to make a new one. A note on the Guardian Arrows, you have to worship Karana to make them... at least im pretty sure.

I think no one can make cultural arrows at the moment... Absor seemed to indicate that Karana and Wood Elf fletching kits are busted until the next major patch.

You can make elemental bows to skill up still ;-)

Shaped Bazu Bone Compound Bow
Class 7 Drakebone Drakespike Arrow
Obsidianwood Compound Bow
Primordial Driftwood Compound Bow
Stonewood Compound Bow
Featherwood Compound Bow


unless i misread something none of those are cultural. everything is either planar or collapsible kits. never said 300 was easy to get to

This list seems accurate... Only correction I might think to make would be that we are yet unsure as to the trivial of all the DoN fletching... but If they are anything like normal fletching, any class 7 drakebone or class 7 (insert name corresponding to shaft material here) drake-spike arrows should all have at least very similiar trivials... I may be wrong though, I'm never quite sure about these things.

well considering my guild doesn't raid EPs anymore, I really can't get the stuff for those 4 bows. I am not gonna pay 5k+ for a Bazu Bone, which is what people are trying to sell them for on MT. So that pretty much leaves nightmare bows til 395. Then farm the new arrows unless something else comes along.
