My Elder is only 4, and she ignores my hails. I have no idea if this is works only for Warriors or will work for anyone.

Sadly I got my Elder Elvish up to 100 and still can;t get any info out of her. I believe this is a database error, and I posted in the DB update section, though no one has responded. The Warrior epic mentions her in detail but has no Bazu Bone references.

Has anyone tried to sell-back any of the Bazu Bone bows? I am wondering if this might be a good skill up item, as you can "buy" a bone for 105pp or so via the warrior epic quest and the sinews don't seem particular hard to come by. I could see saving up 40-80 sinews for skill up run for my last 5 "vanity" points.


EDIT: I realize now that these can be made with storebought strong so all the above applies, except in theory I would need no drops.... just get my elder elvish up enough to "buy" the stave and then use hemp string.

Well Andyhre, I made a few Curved Bazu Bows out of *1 Bazu Bone, *1 Murkglider Sinew, and a whittleing knife. The venders will NOT buy them from you and the bow you make say in the I.D window that it is used for tradeskill. Now what Tradeskill you can use it for I have no clue and I can not find it out from anyone. If anyone here can tell me what tradeskill i can use the bow in,..please let me know.

Almost every bow can be re-strung and so they all almost all say they are used in tradeskills.

Any idea if an ogre shadowknight of rallos zek would be able to get bazu bone from hailing? I can use illusion wood elf and I speak elder elvish at max skill. I can find murkglider sinew in the bazaar, but no bazu bones anywhere to be found. I am at 282 fletching and need some way to skill up past that to 300.

I do not think the hailing method was ever valid - and it was removed from the sources section of the bazu bone page.

upgrade to Bazu bows?

So far I tried 1 and 2 pyrilen flames + the Shaped Bazu Compund Bow (with and without a planning tool, smithing hammer) in a fletching kit & Forge. There must be a way to upgrade these and since I'm currently stuck at 283 in fletching I figure what the hell else am i going to do. This may make a Bazu bone is worth 2 skill attempts.
