did you put an aug on your trophy? if so and the aug isn't equipable in ammo then the trophy would no longer be equipable in ammo either.

Yep, that's it. I totally forgot I slapped a CHA augment on there! Thanks.


BTW: Why are generic LDON drops not listed as Ammo Equipable then? Arrows don't have slots, so maybe this could change too?

At first, you got no skill or stats if you put the trophy into the ammo slot. It took special coding to get the skill from putting the trophy there. they still have not coded getting stats from the ammo slot (that I'm aware of).

Therefore, putting augs onto arrows (which, unless you're an EQ ranger are going to go poof) or other ammo slot items would be useless; you'd not be getting any stat benefit from the aug nor whatever else you put into the ammo slot.

My phrasing was poor. I didn't mean to give arrows slots, but rather, since arrows DON'T have slots, why not make augments ammo-equipable so that trophies with augments can still go in the ammo slot?

As I said, initially you got no benefit at all whatsoever from putting a trophy into the ammo slot. No skill, no stats, nothing. It took special coding to get the skill from a trophy in the ammo slot (and you still don't get the stats).

What good would putting an aug into an ammo slot trophy do you? None. You get no stats from it, only the skill.

The good it would do me is to let me have my trophy in without removing the augment in cases where I wanted to use the stats on my weapons instead. But, yeah, it's a very small thing, and less so now that there is DEX on the trophy. Before, I would have preferred to have the trophy just giving the skill modifier and have kept a Dex item of higher value in my main hand.
