2 Planar Bow Cams + Aborean Bow Staff + Vergrog Vine String + planing tool = Stonewood Compound Bow.

So... yesterday (Jan 12) I found:

Stonewood Bow Staff (wt 4.0, no stats) on a vendor in PoT.

Since it apparently is not the bowstaff for the stonewood compound bow... what is it?

I've hunted in plane of earth for a few days now but I have not ran across any Vergrog Vine String, or Vergrogs could you say what drops it please?

Got some info and some questions

The Vegrog Vines can be found off "A mangled Vegrog" and similar mobs in Plane of Earth i am >assuming< since the name fits so well and they have the model of a compost heap man. They can be found by the dozen in the opposite corner of the zone from the zonein. (SW corner if i remember correctly). The items needed can be found in PoE (i have not managed to find vegrog vines or planar steel yet).

Now for the questions.

1. Is "arborean bow staff" the same as "stonewood bowstaff"? If they are different items then there most likely is a second "plane of earth bow".
2. Were you able to kill the vegrogs with a single group and how did you get there if that is the case? With bind sight and eye of tallon ive scouted most of the zone and i must say that they couldnt cram many more mobs in there without stacking them.
3. Is "planar steel" the same as "immaculate steel"? If not then where can i find planar steel

the staff is Stonewood, Vegrog vines drop from any compost heap man models, and bricks of immaculate steel are what you want to look for, drops from earth elemental/stoneman models most frequently, rarely from other trash.

The Vines are a choke point, theres only 2 safe spots in the whole zone, one at zone in and the other to the far left side which is the wrong area if you want to camp the vines which are in the far back corner. You need a good ench and reccomend about 2 groups that dont like to wander p

Just to comfirm Staves drop off the Treant like mobs correct?
