202 - 215

Used Darkwood Staves and Hemp String to go from 202 to 215. I had KEI, a charm buff (Charm=150) and a geerlock. Here are the results:

*NOTE: The combines for 203 do NOT include about 30 Sedgewood Compound combines that I attempted a few weeks back. This parse is only from last night.
*NOTE: All costs are in copper.

206 wasn't that ugly. glad you didn't get a couple of 100+ in there. grats. on to compound now?

Good info. I was debating myself whether to do bows or arrows. 710pp per point isn't terrible.

My only suggestion...write things in terms of plat, not copper - too manydigits make my head swim.

Bows vs Arrows

I'm new here so I'm probably just reiterating what's been common knowledge for years.

I went with bows for one purpose... the shortest trivial gap was from 202 arrows to 215 bows.

Add to that the incredible convenience of single-vendor combines with no farming and I was sold.

Now, my route to 240 will look like this:

Compound Sedgewood Bows to 235.
Acrylia Arrows and/or Steel arrows to 240.

I'll try a trophy when I get to 240. Plus, I'll start looking at Elemental bow combines.

Since I'll be taking smithing to 188 on Steel Arrowheads, I'll save them and skill up on Steel or Acrylia arrows depending on my cash flow, component availability and available farm time.
