poAir - Aid Grimal Drops

Woot, got earing #5 and ready to move on to #6. Can anyone tell me what to kill in poAir for the drops. Also, what is soloable by a 65 Druid and what will I need a group for?

The drops that are going to be harder to get are the wind metal, the air arachnid silk and the featherwood bow staff.

Wind metal and staff can drop from anything in the zone. If I recall correctly, the zone in metal men can drop them. Bring a group and you could kill them. The occasional named that can pop from them though will lay waste to your single group, so be careful.

The air arachnid silks drop from the crystalline spiders around the zone. They sometime roam to zone in area. However, they might be rough for a single group. They hit fast, very hard and proc an annoying spin. 2 groups would have better chance in handling them. Problem is, aside from the spider island (last island before Xegony), only a handful of roamer can be spiders and their respawn isnt fast. Roamers is an option, but a very slow one. I could see at best a silk per 5-6 hours doing it this way.

The 2 best places to get air arachnid silks are a) the spider island (and the spider event) and b) Xegony island (the guards and the mobs during the Xegony event can all drop air arachnid silks, even though they aren't spiders). Just wait until your guild raids it, or try buying the silks...

Nah, the next step (baking) is very easy. Regruas are easy with one group.
