Question about fletching kits

up till now there has been only two fletching kits that I as a half elf Ranger that worships Karana have had to be concerned with the regular fletching kit and the planar fletching kit. Now that there is the Karana fletching kit I am wondering if I need both the Planar kit and the surefall kit to make any of the recipies out there or if one of these two will be able to be used to make any recipe out there. I know the planar one can be used to make any that I have tried till now but I haven't tried any of the Karana ones yet. any information on this would be most welcome

Best bet here is to get the components for a Karana Recipe, and try it in a Planar Fletching Kit. And tell us whether it works or not.

Given it has only gone live in the past two days, not many folks have tried yet. How about helping to identify if both are needed, or whether Planar will do it all.

Can check a Collapsible Fletching Kit as well.

I'd be surprised if the Karana recipes worked in either the planar or collapsible kit. My expectation is that if you want to be able to do the PoP recipes and the Karana recipes, you will need both a planar and a Karana kit. Those two should cover you for all your fletching needs.

I thought that I read somewhere that said collapsable kits can be used au lieu of planar kits? If this is true (I haven't tried myself), wouldn't it be a good idea to keep the collapsable one collapsed and have the Karana one in inventory then switch them?

The collapsed can be used in place of planar.

Don't think planar kits can be used but collapsed ones, who knows ?

Would that mean that if I get a wood elf cultural kit I wouldnt need a regular one?

And can anyone comfirm that collapsable kit can be used for PoP combines?

I am just starting up fletching and trying to figure out what to get before heading of.

Collapsable kits can be used for any combine other than cultural. This includes LoY and GoD as well as PoP reicipes.
