11 out of 13 with fishing at 182. I love making these.

I am now 9 for 9 at 200 skill plus 5% modifier.

Whorl is not KOS to all. This wood elf bard of Erollisi Marr wanders around PoG with no problems and no invis. Could be a racial thing though, momma Tunare loves her elves.

9 for 9 at 188 skill, no modifier. Fail the spools a disconcerting percentage of the time, though. (Never failed the treated silk fibres or the dragon egg oil, though. Knock wood -- planar oak, as it were.)

Around 20 made, no failures, 200 skill, and I equip the first rod I make to increase the chances. They have a skill modifier.

I haven't made these in a while, but during the Solstice Earring quest craze I probably combined about a dozen with no failures, this is with the +5% Collapsable Fishing Pole and a skill within 195-200 Fishing.

I have made about 48 rods in about 60 attempts.

My fishing was at 180 for all of the attempts, and I equip a +5% rod.

I have done them in runs of 10. My best run has been 10 of 10.
I did have one run of 3 of 10 though. That sucked.

I failed 1 out of 17 tries at 200 skill + 5% modifier for collapsed fishing pole.

I use a Collapsible Fishing Pole (+5% to Fishing) and swear by it.
