Success rate on blessed fishing rod?

With a 200 skill and 5% modifier, what's the average success rate to make the PoTC Blessed Fishing Rod?

over 40 poles made and no failures...i would say a base chance of 5% failure, but after that you are fishing away.

I have made about 75 of these poles... no failures... at 200 fishing though (no mods)... I keep telling this to the friends and friends of friends that I make em for and they keep telling me not to jinx it...

Has anyone actually failed this before at 200 fishing? I've failed on the velium and other parts, but never the final combine in the tackle box...

I have failed 1 in about 15 made. Skill was in 170's when i failed but have not failed since.

I have made well over 200 of the Blessed Fishing Rods, with only 5 failures, and haven't failed in the last 100+ attempts.

All attempts were with 200 fishing skill, and all but the first handful were with a +2% fishing lure equipped.

Is it safe for a Kanara druid to go to PoG to farm/forage the branch. I am a 54 halfling druid who has never done anything to upset his godess

Yes, actually i did have a failure at 200 skill. Ive made about.. oh.. 30 of them, and i did have *1* failure. I was pretty stunned because it was recent, maybe my 25th combine without a failure. I did have one other failure at 185ish skill iirc.

Karana druids (or rangers) do not start out kos there. However, ... if you kill....watch out for the wrath of Mother Nature!

And remember to invis in.. whorl at ZI is kos to all, but usually does not see invis (unless buffed by passing mob)

I'm a Karana druid and am not kos to the whorl at zone in. Nothing is kos to me and I've ran all over the zone checking things out.

I have done .. 4 poles now so far with skill 176 .. well actually 177, got a skill up =)
No failures thought =)

The hardest part for me has been finding dragon eggs though

I'm 8 for 8 so far with 200 skill. I make them while equiping a collapsable pole (not sure if it helps really).

I've failed some of the subcombines, but not the pole so far. I keep failing the velium bits, although I'm not sure why, my skill is well over 100 points higher than the trivial. Guess the RNG doesn't like me that way. Spools haven't failed yet (thank Tunare on that, that sandalwood isn't cheap!)

The tailoring (treated fibres) was troublesome when I started making them because I was still working on that at the time, but actually got skillups off them I probably would have kept making those for skillups if dragon eggs didn't cost a fortune.

I failed 2 out of 7 tries, 200 skill +5pct modifier I think it was bad luck cause i am averaging less then 5pct failure right now, 200+poles and only 4 failurs total.
