Are there spots better than others in the same zone?

For example is the storm salmon rate better in the frog caves in PoS than at the zone-in shoreline? A friend insists it is, however I'm skeptical.

Also, I tried to search for the answer in FAQ, etc., with no luck so many apologies if this is a repeated question.

From a programming perspective, it would be too tedious to make different fishing table for different part of each zone. I vote no.

I agree with Hibashira. There should not be differences where you fish. However, if you have a favorite spot to fish, stick to it.
