Bugged Fishing Companion?

Has anyone tried the Fishing Companion quest in a while? Two days ago, gave the bones to Ramos Jerwan in PoK and got nothin' in return...

Also did a /petition right afterwards with no response as of yet. Shall I try again or does anyone know if it's bugged?

how did you put them in the trade window. if you stacked the 2 sets of bones thats why it didnt work. i feel your pain if you did that, i did that and got notta from him. petitioned and nothing from that. aguide straight up asked me if i wanted to escalte it to a gm. but if thats what ya did then next attempt fill the trade window with the 4 bones seperate, worked for me that time.

The character you used might also have been too low level - I recall seeing someone mention that quest having a min level on it somewhere?

This happend to a friend of mine yesterday. You have to have your planer travel mannual with you (from the needle quest) or the upgrades to it ie begginers magic mannual. And all items unstacked

I don't believe that you need to have a Planar Traveller's Manual since I didn't. I did the turn-in at level 16 so if there's a minimum level it's pretty low.

I bought the bones in the bazaar for 150pp each and did the turn in a little over a week ago on The Nameless. It was just before the last bout of patching so if it's broken now it was broken in the recent patches.

I got mine last night with no Planar Travellers Manual.
Bones where 100pp each in bazaar.
Headed straight to OoT for saltwater seaweed. 75 skill-ups in 2 hours and only 6 seaweeds.

Did someone say 'stack the bones'? Maybe that's why, I have him one each of both types of bones... didn't realize he wanted multiples of them.

yes he wants 2 of each, but <b>DO NOT STACK</b> them, you'll be very unhappy if you do

Got my fisherman companion ok today, so quest is not bugged, just make sure nothing is stacked when you hand them in

It's not the fishing itself that's the problem, it's getting flagged for PoValor to get to the water that make's it so difficult. I doubt I'll ever actually be able to this quest first hand.

It's far easier to just buy the bones in the bazaar than it is to do the work yourself even if you are flagged. The bones cost me 600pp in the bazaar. that's just a few hours farming silks even at level 10. If I waited to get flagged it would be months or years before I am likely to see PoV.

I just bought the vallorian discus bones in bazaar for 75pp each and FD fished in PON for the Nightmare Cichlids.
