Where to fish for Cobalt Cod?

I am working on tailoring and need to get some of the cod but I have parted ways with the othmir along with parting them of their furs Anyone know a good spot to fish without worrying about constantly fighting off the otters?

Well, I fish there all day without a problem with the otters. Idiots training Bulthars is another story, but otters...no problem. Then again, I never killed them. You may want to go destroy every ulthork in the history of EW to regain otter faction (at least to dubious) in order to fish or go to the SG wall side of the zone and go to the furthest point on that beach. It at least reduces the number of otters that happen by. Improved Superior Camoflauge will help too.

Actually, you can fish at the SG zone line. Just don't go afk there. Even though the sirens don't see invis, if they charm someone who can, they will attack you.

It is also safe-ish just past where the wandering Bulthar turns around, near the tip of the peninsula (I've sometimes camped there to hunt Bulthars, but not for very long, so can't say how really safe it is).

There is a spot where I fish for cods without any problems. From port in point, go towards the wall where SG zone is. If you look from the beach there is a small rock just near the wall in the ocean. I just go stand there at the rock and fish and none of the mobs bother me at all.

Just for your info. My fishing is 200 plus using 5% rod. I have been finshing for about 20 stcks of worth of baits and I have been getting about equal number of cod, fresh fish, fish scale, dragon snapper and misc. stuff. So the chance of getting a cod seems to be about 20%, kind of low. Good luck.

The best place I have found is in the tunnel to Siren's Grotto. Just swim past the Enchanter's and go in the tunnel. Once inside, the only thing that can aggro you is whatever someone trains through to SG.
