I think I used to see Fishing Spears on the merchant in the Oasis of Marr Inn, likely from the area fisherman NPCs. Wasn't able to fish with it.temperance the elf

you could use it for 'fishing'... provided you can put it in your primary hand as a weapon... you could go for a swim and poke the fishies with it and then loot their little bodies for the fish. cry
This would then be a different skill to baiting a hook or handmaking a lure and throwing it in the water, spear fishing is more of a swim and hunt type whatchamacallit.
