Okay, I know I've been running around checking out how much bait you get from various different fishies. So, here's my complete list of yields in one easy-to-find spot. Feel free to contribute to this list. I will update this as often as I can. Please list fish and yield. Also mention any DNC fish in case there was a mis-code or something for the Dev's to catch.

There are four different 'Large Fetid Bass'. they weigh 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, and 2.1 respectively.

I would like to remind the fishing population as a whole that even though we might be able to detect a pattern that might in fact be true, the Devs could have messed up the coding on a yield or altered a yield outside the pattern on purpose. Please only report yields you have ACTUALLY combined. While it does seem to look like 0.1 = 10 yield, we're still not 100% sure something went wrong somewhere.

DOD. Tiny Blind *whatever* yields 1, 2 others are DNC.. I'll have to go check again was checking as I fished there.

OOW: SO far everything I've tried is DNC, 6 lb tuna, 10 lb, 12 b, as well as the crab.. Now, I did not try the 1lb versions nor the crabmeat/tuna meat but I will be happy to once I log in.. have them on me.. SOOOO happy to have my dispenser.

Well, we could either add these new additions to the database as they are reported, or wait until all fish have been reported and then do them all at once. I'd rather add them as reported, but that can get complicated as people might be inclined to edit their own posts with corrections or additions, which makes it very hard to keep track. Would you all prefer that this get moved to Data Submissions, or to copy over new info as people post it, or to just wait until all fish have been reported?

As I was collecting brewing supplies in DoD for my Monk, Sithrak, I noticed that if a fish will combine in the Bait Dispenser it will yield 1 bait per 0.1 wgt of the fish caught. Yes not everything combines but just as an example I was fishing FD'd on the shore of the big lake in Undershore:

Cave Catfish: 0.8 wgt = 8 bait
Gravestone Loach: .5 wgt = 5 bait
Albino Crawfish: .5 wgt = 5 bait
(found this interesting because Crawdads from PoP zones DNC)
Tiny Blind Cave Fish: .1 wgt = 1 bait
Cavern Sculpin and the Fungus-Covered Plecustemus: DNC

In PoP both the Valorian Discus and the Nightmare Cichild are 1.0wgt and return 10, the same as the 1.0 wgt fresh fish. These fall right into line witht he wgts and the yeilds that Quichon posted earlier. So there's your rule of thumb...happy hunting for what will and what won't but now you know what the yield will be if it does combine

Actually, while the fish is a 17lb Fetid Bass, the actual weight of the fish is 1.7. So at 1.7 weight you would expect the 17 yield you get.

Kunark:

Humongous Fetid Bass landed several times and each yeilded 25 baits so that can be confirmed. Gigiantic also caught (only one out of almost 300 baits used so rare catch I guess) and yeilded 23 baits.
