After playing around a bit, the stacks of 100 bait are enough just to keep this thing in the bank to make bait whenever you need to go fishing. No real need to bring this along, as a few 100 stacks of bait replace the bags full we used to have carry around to do long term fishing.

There is an even better way to store it.

I'm guessing you could go to the bazaar and tokenize it when its not in use, haven't tried yet.

            edit: comfirmed, its tokenizable.

Heh, I had automatically assumed that's what Evram meant when he said to just leave it in the bank, so I thought Ngreth was suggesting something other than Tokenizing it.

Aye, that is what I meant by leaving it in the bank, as a token.

I made to last night and put one token up for sale for 5k and someone actually bought it. Didn't think I was going to sell it. Maybe I will make more.

Getting to PoI was pain to get items for it but since my rogue got SoS, it's a piece of cake. Now I will try to make a few more. I just wish it was higher trivial, it would have been a great skill up item.

I sold two for 5k each to very very excited buyers immediately after making the first one. It definately seems like a fun new item at the least.

Gnomish tinkerer friend of mine confirms nothing is returned on failure. And after all that time in PoI trying to get the droppable stuff too...

Any word or idea on what the homemade bait could be also used in (since it is tradeskill-flagged)?

I seem to be noticing the most frequent words I hear from you are 'Blame Absor'...

Glad to see your Dev-hood hasn't changed you at all

Keep up the good work, eh? This has been something I've been requesting for months. It's even better than I had hoped, giving practically infinite fishing with even a passable skill when combined with the Fisherman's Companion. You can usually get one fresh fish per ten fishing attempts (unless you're in cabillis in which case you get stacks of bait easy with the variously sized bass which can return over 20 bait each for the bigger ones).

I'm systematically going through the zones to check on the zone-specific fish and how much they yield. I think I've managed to finish off all the PoP zones so far, including PoWater. Of course, being an iksar, this can be an issue in old-world zones. However, being a monk gives me advantages (FD). May take me a while to get to some of the more obnoxious zones, but I'll get there eventually. Assistance would be appreciated, particularly for the fishies found in the far-fourty of Velious, and DoD (since I don't have DoD yet).
