PoW fishing...

having no self invis without using a ton of potions/batteris, and only hide, not sneak... plus i can't pacify the fishies in the water unless i wanna swim wwith em... there any trick to fishing in PoW?

Kill the front two guys and get some xp and loots while fishing. If that is not possible, you *may* be able to kinda hide around the corner close enough to the water and still fish. Try it out, the zone out is right there in case they aggro you.

You can hide and fish there, just get an invis potion of some sort, it may take a couple tries, but that's how I did it. I invissed up and then hid, cancelled invis and then conned them to see if they saw me hidden (ranger hide is kinda sucky so fails a lot). Took me a couple tries of running to the zone and back to get it to work heh.

without invis: duck, use the geography to get close enough to fish while sitting behind a sand dune... 1 in 6 casts will be for landsharks...kept hid on just in case

during the first half of my fishing fun, i lucked out and a raid ran through, so i moved up to the shoreline, hid, and all was well. 2nd go at it, i did the duck thing. can get pretty close.
