Broodlands has NO fish?

So.. there's this HUGE body of water in the brodlands.. and not 1 zone specific fish?

I looked under the tradeskill suplies list for the broodlands.. and there was nothing listed as fished.

Roughly a week after DoN went live I ran through 4 stacks of bait, and caught fresh fish, rusty daggers, and worn sandals. I have a skill of 200, so it looks like no zone specific fishies.

There was a bug not too long ago that someone with high fishing skill were *less* likely to catch something special. It's supposedly fixed now so someone may need to recheck or get someone with lower fisahing skill to try.

I'm sure I waited till alfter that bug was fixed, can't hurt to check again sometime though.

I actually don't like that! If you need a certain one, you'll be weeks of foraging to get a significant quantity of that one (37 total items on the forage table, including the common items like roots and vegetables and rabbit meat). I would have been happier if they'd split the forage table a bit by zones, as the rest of Norrath is; so you'd know to go to, say, Stillmoon if you wanted scale ore, or the Broodlands for Marsh Gas, and only have 14 other items on those forage tables. As it is, all DoN zones seem to have the same forage table, so you need 4 empty bags and a few years and a lot of patience.

No new fish does make me a little sad! I guess we have koi in game already, that would have fit the expansion theme. Hm. Not sure what else would be apt.

First day it went live I spent 4 plus hours and 10 stacks or so of bait. Went from 167 to 200 plus and nothing but fresh fish. I was very disappointed myeself.

Tried fishing there a few weeks after they fixed fishing and found nothing special. Some big dragon must of eaten everything.

I think it is a shame that they didn't find the time to throw one specialized fish in the mix.
