Weird fishing day...

I think I'm going buggy...
Today I grabbed a pole & 3 stacks of bait to do some fishing in Abysmal Sea, expecting to real in countless piles of Tuna and Crab to make some rolls out of. to my surprise.. with in the first stack.. I got 14 Fresh Fishies and only 1 tuna... I know its been awhile since I did some fishing in abysmal, I just dont recall ever getting fresh fishies. after fishing off the next 2 stacks I walked away with only 5 tunas (various sizes) and only 2 crabs (various sizes). I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar run or am i just making myself crazy.
my skill is at 185.

Specialty fishes in zones got botched somehow ... allegedly the cause of the problem has been identified by the developers and a fix is in the works.

After spending 2 hours in Iceclad Ocean trying to obtain 3 Iceclad Cutlass Fish for the Coldain Prayer Shawl quest, I am now reading this thread. Nearly 10 stacks of Fresh Fish in my bags...not 1 Iceclad Cutlass fish. Thought I was going crazy until this moment.

Still broken in the GoD zones, which is a real pain when you're trying to do the faction for the alt Qvic access

I'm glad to see I'm not going insane.

Burnt through about 5 stacks of bait today in Abysmal and Natimbi, and ended up just two short of 5 stacks of fresh fish. Not a single crab or tuna.

I was starting to think I'd have to resort to 10 lb. meat pies to skill up my baking. Other people seem to be having slightly better luck than me.

This leads indirectly into an issue with the old human cultural smithing. I plan to work up my smithing to 300 as fast as I can, and I was going to use the old Freeport cultural smithing. However, that requires Saltwater Seaweed for its temper, fished from the Ocean of Tears and (I think) Timorous Deep. Until this gets fixed, I'll have to find an alternate skillup route.

Fishing Broken

Yeah it seems it's broken and hopefully fixed real soon. I fished 2 stacks of bait in Nedaria's Landing and 2 stacks in Surefall with 200 skill and didn't get 1 Thunder Salmon
