Bait supply

i've recently obtained the fisherman's companion and its limitless supply of Fishing Poles (and beer woot!) and i was wondering...is there some kind of quest or item that works the same way for bait? In other words, like the companion, is there any way i can find an endless supply of bait, short of just buying it in hoards from the merchants, or am i doomed to always run out and kick myself for not buying one more stack. Any info would be great, cause i sure hate getting off my arse after finding a great fishing spot =)
