Cobalt Cod

I never see it for sale in the bazaar. I am making my final push in tailoring and I need about 11 stacks of Cod Oil. I would pay good money for the Cod Oil but it is never for sale.

I have been forced to fish up all my own Cobalt Cod - so far I have managed to get about 6 stacks. 5 more to go.

It would make sense for me to pay for it. A tip to all you cash hungry fishermen out there - the Cod Oil would sell.

the cod was to hard to get to, you had to get a port to get to zone.. and not many are willing to pay for a port to go fishing,,

with the new DoN expansion there should be some cod for sell..

I have 200 or so cod oils for sale ... on test server.

I sold about 200 very fast (under 2 hours on a very low population server), at 10p each. So, I put the next 200 at 15p each, and sold them all within 8 hours. Put the next ones up at 20p, and havent sold any at all in days.

They are dreadfully boring to get, but and I sell half of what I catch and my wife uses the other half for tradeskilling.

cod/cod oil is 100-200per on Bertox, and artic wyvern hides are setting me back 200per.

Had an extremely tedious day farming them today.

Small pieces of velium are going for 60pp each.

I sell the Cod Oil on Rodcet Nife for 35pp. They are always gone in an hour. I know that I could sell them for more, but I already feel like 35pp is highway robbery.

I sincerely hope that the final push you are referring to is to 250 and not 300, as Wyvern hide armors trivials were nerfed down to 252.

I am honestly stunned, as I just spent 30k on hides and velium, and I am at 250. It's all basically useless to me now.

With the guild hall teleporter and the origin AA, getting to and from CS for non-porters became a lot easier.

Yesterday I fished up 75 cobalt cod (560 pieces of catchalot bait, brell's fishing pole, 200 skill) and made cod oil. Then I log on to find wyvern masks at 252 (I'm already at 254 skill). So I tossed the oils into baz for 25p each. They sold very quickly.

Just a note, you can get to CS without a port. Use this path:

In PoK, take the Great Divide Stone

In Great Divide, run to southern most point of river and click the tiny castle to zone into Plane of Mischief

In Plane of Mischief, go straight into the zone (the way you're facing when you zone in), click trees until one zones you into CS.

Note, you'll be dumped into the ocean in CS (swim up or be able to breath) and you'll want to be invis to avoid wandering sharks.

Also If you have DoN.. and are guilded... go into your guildhall, and for some PP you can port directly to CS... will still need a way out.. but getting there MUCH easier now.

It should be noted there's a level requirement to get into PoM. You can't send a level 1 mule through GD just for fishing. Get someone to port you if you don't have DoN or can't afford the port in Guild Hall.

If you don't have origin aa and don't want to run back and can't get a hold of return port, gate potion is usually 300-400 per use.

I am also max positive faction vs CoV so I can walk among the wyvern and drakes without worry about being attacked and the best part: killing wyvern (not named) has NO faction hit so you can farm hides without getting adds or worse. Note kill wyverns only in CS and not in Skyshrine.
