So i decided to do the vlessed fishing pole quest because not many supplyers and some demand for my server. So im in potg near the lake fishing to get my skill up while forageing. So i get one in about every 3 hours or sometimes less. So a 53 ranger comes in to explore this plane of growth. Stays 3 hours and gets 9 planar oaks and sells them to me. He says he foraged them close to tunare's tree and that might have something to do with it. But what is it? am i over the forage table? Im a level 61 druid with 200 forage plus the 10% forageing machete eqippted when i press forage button. Ive gotten most of my oaks from people rather than forageing. Anyone have a suggestion or explanation on this matter? Thank you in advance

I've never heard of "sectional" or "zoned" foraging areas within a zone. Far as I know if you forage at one spot in a zone you could forage anywhere.
I think I'll run up and give doing it around her tree a try and see what happens

Location doesnt matter
Location in a zone has NOTHING to do with what you forage. It's just the streaky RNG that VI uses. I have foraged well over 200 branches in PoG, all of them right by the zone-in portal. Sometimes I'll get 5 or 6 in an hour, sometimes I won't get any in 2 or 3 hours. Foraging skill is 200.

Bard here, 55 forage with no modifiers. Took 500 bait to kill time and sat down near the lake/waterfall for about 6 hours. Foraged 3 branches total, and 2 of them came in that last hour.
