Not sure I agree. Assuming you can macro mouse movement...
left click prim slot
left click destroy (assuming quick destroy is on)
right click Fisherman's companion
put rod in prim slot
fish
/autoinventory
repeat until you run out of bait... easy to get past your rod breaking.
Now if only someone would show me how to set up macros
