Fishing Makro?

What do you use as fishing makro?

Makro?

If by Makro you mean 'macro', I believe that it is illegal to use any macros.

I used the old-fashioned macro, holding onto the mouse, clicking the 'fishing' button, waiting and then depositing the fish (or other item, if any) into a container.

Hit Macro 4 on second page for fishing and destroy or put result in bag.

ay, macro (not illegal - it's part of the game...)

so noone using something like:
/pause n, /doablity x
/doability x

What is the refresh time (n= ?)?
It will only make sense if you fail to catch something, right?

As you said, it's really useful if you don't catch anything.
If you catch fish or smoething else, you will have to put it in inventory slot or destroy, making difficult to /pause n.
Will miss some /do ability because of that and lag also.

yes, in game macros are legal, I thought the poster was referring to 3rd party macros, which are illegal.

Why did I think this? because technically there is a macro built in to the abilities. And given that you cannot fish if you are holding something, unless you could program the destroy button or deposit it into containers, it would be useless.

I fish to get stuff (like fish) -- it's funded my smithing up to 132 as well

Well I do macro my fishing, but I did it by setting a timer, casting and stopping it when the line came back. then I set that value into my pauses and just did 5 lines of pause doability and then open a pack hit 9 and if catch something drop in the open pack. I have no access to the game currently but will write down my macro and submit it later tonight

In my button list, I grab the base/main Fishing one and place that on Hot Key 3. (It was 7 for the longest time, but then I got amount and I put her summoning drum there.)

No macro's are used. No evil /pause's. Nothing but pure Fishing ability goodness.

When I fish, I usually have my inventory open, a bag or two if I'm baking as well (you can bake a fish roll or a storm salmon fillet quicker than it takes to catch the next fish), and press my hot key. When I've caught something it gets auto equipt, stuck on the spit, or destroyed. Once my hand if free, I press the button again. If something happens, like I'm too far away from the water or was still holding my last catch, I know when it will be ready because it will pop up.

You can mem spells, cast, summon, use clickies, and a whole bunch more while fishing. Or you can sit back and relax and let the fish roll in.

memorize spells
cast spells
summon
use clickies

and

forage
sense direction
combine things in containers,

My favorite, since I am a Iksar Monk is...

DIF - Dead Iksar Fishing. Yes, I can Feign Dead... then cast for fish as long as I want. The FD never breaks (given it worked the first time)... and I get no AOE Spell hitting me...

So if I want to fish in a dangerous spot... get there (alive)... then FD successfully. THEN pull out my Fishing Pole.

Look up how rangers can do auto archery using a gamepad. It wont put the things you catch down, but it does constantly fish, just every once in a while go over and drop stuff in the bag.
