Those last 2 little points....

Ok last night i had a good run and got 8 skillups on 6 stacks of Minos!

took me to 244 and very close to the end of brewing. I have a quick question, what do people mostly use for those last 2 points after Mino triv 248???
(i seem to recall reading the 2 popular ones are Demi Sec, or the Kaladim Constitutional brew with the Kaladim mushroom floor spawn thingie)

I dont have a Corker yet, but if it makes the last 2 easeier i would get one.

Not sure if i will bother getting the Trophie just yet as i already have the JC one. And my epic + Banewarding shield give me a big lump of wis and a healthy ammount of Char. Added to JC trophie, my char is somewhere around 130 which is max for buying/selling from what i understand.

Anyhow if you have any advice, it would be appriciated, dont waste your time telling me recipy, i can look them up myself....

I found KC's extremely easy. I did 30 of them for my last two points. (Yes, I know I was lucky). Corkers have gone down in price quite a bit. You can either save the corker for the trophy eventually, or keep it to make brews for profits, or you can just resell it back after you get 250.

Other people swear by demi's, but I find it tedious and I have my own enchanter on a 2nd account. 8)

I did Kaladim Constitutionals too.

Wasn't too bad, I'd collected almost 3 stacks of the mushrooms, but I seem to remember the last points both coming in the first stack of combines.

I had my pet tinker make me corking devices though

ground spawns are way in the back of kaladim at the farm near the brew barrel. spawn time is 6 minutes, so bring everything else you need and have it ready, since you will be right next to the brew barrel. And yes, the amounts of shrooms vs fungi is always skewed.

Always 10 mushrooms to 7 fungi. Save the extra mushrooms for Underfoot Brown (each of which takes 4 shrooms), which is used in a faction quest in Katta, I believe.

I got 4 stacks of shrooms and fungi together for my final 4 points in brewing and it only took me 43 combines for all 4 points. I already had the corker previously for making some stat drinks. And the KC's sell fairly well on my server, so I made some pp from that last little run as well.

I did constitutionals myself.

I was also lucky enough to get my last 2 points in 30 combines, even though I had preped myself for 100 attempts.

I had a tinker friend make me a corker, so all I had to do was provide ingredients to make it. Saved some PP there.

I'd recommend it.

6 minute spawn timer. 10 to 7 ratio shooms over fungus. Takes less than 2 hours to farm up enough for 100 attempts.

Thinking those last 2 points were going to be murder to get I sat through enough spawns to get 140 each of shrooms and fungus. In less than 1 stack of Constitutionals I got my last 2 points and was elated! I personally didn't trust Champagnes but ymmv.

I did demi-sec...made about 100 magnums, and got 250 in 2 stacks...

So of course I now have 60 magnums that sell back for like 1/100th of their creation price...so i do the other 60 (failing NONE of them...)

Took about 4 months for all 100 to sell out in bazaar mode, but they did eventually.

you HAVE to make kaladim constitutional
you can find corker for 1200, if you sell just some stack of kc you'll get all your money back

I loathe sitting around waiting for ground spawns, so I did 249 and 250 on various champagnes (mostly demi-sec for resale). 249 took about 10 combines but 250 took about 80 I fear I somewhat spoiled the demi-sec market for a few days with my fierce (below-cost) undercutting ops: Someone bought me out soon enough though

Definitely Kaladim Constitutionals. I was parked at 248 for a while because I didn't like the idea of Champagne. Then I read about KC. It took about 80 combines for my last two points. I sold the KCs easily. Now I keep a constant supply of KCs and they sell steadily. I have a mule ground spawn picker-upper in Kaladim. Whenever I log in or log out, I spend a couple of minutes logging on the mule to gather the two ground spawn components.

I went the Kaladim Constitutionals rout, as I’m always short on funds. I wasn’t very lucky and it took me around 100 combines to get my last two points. But the ground spawn for this drink isn’t bad. There’s no searching an entire zone to find it. It all spawns in one spot. And the respawn rate is very quick, as spawn rates go. And since there’s a stream right next to the garden you can also practice your fishing or swimming while you wait.
