  • Faydwer Shaker

I just finished making skullies until 151, now on to the shakers. I was wondering if you guys could tell me the best zone to work on this in, which has the easiest access to all the ingredients. I am a dwarf, on CoV faction, and normal faction in all other good cities. Thanks in advance for the information guys , btw I did search around for this, so pardon me if it was posted elsewhere and I missed it.

From two months ago: Brewing details 0 - 248 (and now 250)

From last December: Best place to make Faydwer shakers?

Unlike the old board, the search function on this one works quite well.

Edit: I was in quite a hurry to get somewhere when I posted the above. I failed to mention that the two threads talk rather extensively about this question and many different opinions of why one place or another is better are expressed.

I'm a big fan of East Freeport. You can pick up the Elven Wine, Dwarven Ale, and Gnomish spirits in the blue building (forget the name, but you can't miss it) and the mead and casks inside the Trader's Holiday, where the brew barrel is. Pretty painless, and has the added advantage of not being out in the middle of bloody nowhere (like HHP)!

I'll have to agree with BP. Everything you need is right in East Freeport. All the "Faydwer" bits of the shaker (the spirits, ale, and wine) can be bought at Velithe & Bardo's Imported Goods (the blue building). The rest can be bought right next to the brew barrel in the bar next to the "Inn" type vendor building right between the gates and the docks.

Plus if someone else is working there, there are several brew barrels around East Freeport so you likely won't have trouble finding a spot to sit and do your runs.

If you have the right faction, Sanctus Seru is even better. Everything can be purchased literally in the same building. You have to visit two different vendors, but they're both in the same building, along with the brew barrel.

Thanks for the info guys. My plan is to park my alt druid in EFP now that we have shared bank, that way I can brew almost anywhere I choose with my cleric.

Skyshrine is the best place as far as I'm concerned, you can buy everything you need from the same bar, and I've never seen anyone else using the barrel (almost never see anyone in the whole city)
