  • an other new Brewing Guide; DenMother please check this, too

I will describe two easy ways to learn brewing to a pleasing level.
One (A) will include only ingredients that can be bought at vendors the other (B) with some (foraged) fruits which you can buy on the bazaar for some coins.
The advantage on the second method is that you can raise it a little bit higher.

    A)

    1. Malted milk (26); drink it (or use it for Egg Nog)
malt [Luclin; Shar Vahl] + milk + bottle

    2. heady paeala (46); used in tailoring
two (unstacked) packets paeala sap [Luclin; Shar Vahl] + flask of water + bottle

    3. soda water (58)
soda [Plane of Knowledge (PoP); Caden Zharik (-344, 756)] + water flask

    4. paeala bark tannin (102); used in tailoring
paeala bark [Luclin; Shar Vahl] + flask of water

    3.Tumpy's tonic (135)
kiola nut [Ocean of Tears; Cleonae Kalen (Erollisi Isle)] + flask of water

    B)

    1. fruit juice (24) => fizzlepop
two (unstacked) fruit (bazaar for 1-5 GG) + 1 flask water

    2. heady paeala (46); used in tailoring
two (unstacked) packets paeala sap [Luclin; Shar Vahl] + flask of water + bottle

    3. soda water (58)
soda [Plane of Knowledge (PoP); Caden Zharik (-344, 756)] + water flask

    4. paeala bark tannin (102); used in tailoring
paeala bark [Luclin; Shar Vahl] + flask of water

    5. Tumpy's tonic (135)
kiola nut [Ocean of Tears; Cleonae Kalen (Erollisi Isle)] + flask of water

    5. fizzlepop (142) (random chance of recieving back a fruit juice on a failure)
soda water + fruit juice + bottle

The heady paeala and the paeala bark tannin are used to learn tailoring. So you could sell them on the bazaar or use it by yourself to raise your own tailoring skill.

After skill level 135 (142) you will have to use dropped or foraged ingredients. So it is on your taste how to raise it further.

Have fun and don’t drive drunk!

Erm.... not that I am trying to bash you in any way, but I am confused as to why you would use such a progression? I know from personal experience that it costs much plat for Heady Koila and even more for the Heady Paeala, wouldn't it be much cheaper and easier to just use Fetid Essense (one fishing grub + one flask of water) until you reach a skill of 122? You can purchase them from a merchant in PoK, it stacks, and it's cheap.

I appreciate the effort it took for you to amass this data, but I can but wonder as to the reason.

I needed them for tailoring! You can hardly living without heady paeala, IF you want to raise your tailoring.

Hehe, perhaps I should make a how_to_brew_cheap, too.

It's been done, a lot. There are about 35 million brewing guides out there. Why it takes a whole guide to say make fetid essence then skull ale, then faydwer shakers then MHB then kaladim constitutional is beyond me.

started MHB's at skill 30 in brewing, i made a penalty to myself when i was 40'ish in lvl. I always have a stack of the MHB stuff on me, if i spend longer than 10 min in a city, or bazaar, or lfg, I goto the brewbarrel, dont pass go, or collect 200 pp lol. Ya really dont seem to notice the annoyace of the mass clicks as much.

I did go on some set runs, 85 to 100, and 140 to 150 that i jus didnt stop till i hit that skill. But everytime i entered a city and stayed for more than 10 min, or with out a grp hunting, i made myself brew MHB's as punishment lol. Believe me it is, and its boring, but great way to pass time while lfg lol

I'd recommend adding Ginesh {Veggies, water, short beer and a shotglass} to 168 on the end of section B

In defense of Heady kiolas and such, you can make LOADS of money moving these in the bazaar. I sell heady Kiolas for 3 pp a shot, and no matter how many stacks I force myself to make, I sell out in less than an hour. Great way to fund other skills (smithing, the bane of my existence, comes to mind...)!

I did the fetid to 122, then the payala fruit + water to 187. Always thought that was the fastest, maybe it's just the cheapest (too lazy to take it past there).

I did demi sec champagne instead of kaladim const. Of course, being a chanter I did magnums myself, but they should not be to hard to have made.
