  • Fruit spawns just so it doesn't get lost

Okay, Tomb Bloodfists posted way down there a GREAT section detailing all the groundspawns for the Shar Val Essence which can be used for brewing up to 188.

I love this site by the way

There are in fact 28 ground spawning Payala Fruits in Shadeweavers Thicket, if I didn't miss any that is.

And they have a respawn rate of just over 10 min

Without SoW or any speed increase I was constatly picking up Payala fruit as I ran to each site. With SoW or such I probably could of hit them all with time to spare.

Here is a list of approximate locs, one loc for a group of trees

The most obvious loc is right near the merchants and the trees are distinctive having bright leaves compared to the other trees

neg 1284, neg 2763 7 trees in the area only 6 have Payala fruit groundspawns

neg 1506, neg 2876 1 tree on other side of merchant building from the other 7 tree, this one has PAyala fruit groundspawn

neg 364, neg 2540 4 trees within site of each other, all with Payala fruit groundspawn

neg 573, neg 1684 4 trees, 4 Payala fruit total but 1 tree has none and 1 tree has 2

neg 792, neg 909 this is in and near the Loda Kai camp, 7 trees in the area but only 5 have Payala fruit groundspawns

neg 1774, neg 33 3 trees in the area but only 1 has Payala fruit groundspawn

neg 2671, pos 117 4 trees in the area all with Payala fruit groundspawn

neg 2954, neg 725 4 trees in the area but only 3 have Payala fruit groundspawn

that accounts for all the 28 I found, there is also a group of 8 trees around neg 2096, neg 1309, but I found no groundspawns there

so if you want to save money this isn't a bad way to do it, if you have extra time after picking up all the fruit you can kill saureks for rockhopper hides and worm/lesser shades for shadeling silk and swirling shadows for tailoring/smithing

Good Luck, gonna go make some Shar Val essence now
It was posted in response to a question about the groundspawns and I didn't want all this valuable information to go to waste, so I am reprinting it in a new post. Perhaps someone might want to use this information to make a guide.

Don't blame me for the information, that goes to Tomb Bloodfists, who spent all his time hunting these locations down for us. All I did was reprint it here for easier access.

Wow, I was *just* looking for this the other day, and couldn't seem to find it in the search function. Thanks! This was exactly what I was looking for!

I found most of the sites using this guide. I couldn't find the 1 fruit spawns, I think...

Anyway, I found that if you make markers on the maps that came with LoY, it becomes REALLY easy to find all the spawns. What I did was make a marker for each fruit I found, number each fruit, and then put a bigger number by each "clump" so I knew how many fruit I should be finding at each clump.

I've gotten to 155 from 122 with thie Essence... it's great for us poor people.

Also, remember the payala fruit is used for a quest - Chialle's Friendship Ring - besides brewing.

Whoo! Thanks for reposting the info, I would've never found it otherwise.

Well, people are asking about the spawns again, so I am bumping this back up for everyone to read. Mabye someone might want to sticky it for future reference?

I agree, this is highly useful info... The other bit of info I want to add is there is a brew barrel here at loc -2195, 1423 (in Gor Taku caves, be wary of faction). Bring your own water and you'll have your brewing skill up in no time!

A very good suggestion I found, if you have LoY take a few min to map the trees. I just walked up to each tree in the zone and put a blank blue lable in that spot. Aftert the first run, i was able to doube my speed by running directly to the next patch of trees ont he map.

Yup, I mapped them all out too. Well worth the extra time it took on the first time through. With the map and SoW I make the run so fast I was getting impatient waiting around for them to start re-spawning Now with the brew barrel stop I dont have to worry about waiting!

Just an FYI, the LoY maps have layers to them if you can figure them out. I put info like grouns spawns on their own layer so that I can shut off the other layers and have JUST the info I need on the map. Makes it much less cluttered.

So, should I make a guide out of this information and post it elsewhere? Or should I just leave it as is?
