Is there any other way apart from forage in lavastorm to get the ashweed needed for this recipe. Was told that ashmag weed was the same thing but getting a DNC for it.

Recipe = ashen: ashweed, water flask (dark elf)

Seems pretty stoopid to me that they put a foraged only item in DE only cultural Loy robe components, and noone on xev be selling either ashweed or the racial robe dyes in bazaar :-(

So anyone know whether ashweed can be storebought anywhere????

I've looted Ashweed from Fire Imps. They also drop Ash Root but I don't think there's a tradeskill use for the root.

AshROOT, using the root graphic, is a poison thing.

AshWEED is foraged, and uses the green leaf graphic.

and if you think a foraged component in a racial tailoring recipe or 6 is 'pretty stupid', talk to ALL THE HIGH ELVES that have had to beg and buy and give away their oldest child just to get morning dew for their cultural recipes.

I don't think the brightest people, or the kindest, work at verant.

Morning dew was added to drop tables for just that reason I believe... so I think they listen.

The LoY robe forages that are for Int casters are also on the drop tables of mobs in the zone...

I made VERY sure to corner the Devs before I put the following on each of the 6 LoY robes recipes pages, just so we would NOT have a non-foraging race without a means of obtaining these on their own.

Dye components are foraged, as well as mob drops in the same zone in which the items can be foraged.

I have confirmed that you CAN LOOT ASHWEED (not ashmag weed etc)

From the Goblin Warrior's by the najena camp. They are the only ones that drop it from my trials. The ones by the solusek ro temple camp do not drop it (or drop it INSANELY rarely).

So the Goblin Warrior's by that one Erudite Necro (dont rember how to spell her name but its something like hylakan or something) DO drop it and i have SEEN it drop

Problem is its a 2 spawn every 6 minutes (ok well 3 spawn but one of the spots is a placeholder for the erudite necro and you would have to kill her which hurts heretic faction)

i just remember a similar discussion a while back when someone was convinced he had ashweed when he really had ashroot, or something to that effect.
