  • Brewing from 200 - 250!

Well, 2 years ago when the cap was 200, I was sitting in High Hold Pass doing the Mino Hero Brews and then when I saw the 200th point hit, i ran across the zones screaming I WON I WON!

2 years later, I finally decide to spend 3 points into Tanaan Mastery and decided what the heck... And now, with 280 WIS and 3 hours 30 minutes of constant clicking I give you my results!

    Combined: Minotaur Hero's Brew
    201: 3
    202: 26
    203: 16
    204: 35
    205: 12 (FAILED)
    206: 10 (FAILED)
    207: 14
    208: 29
    209: 6
    210: 11
    211: 27
    212: 27
    213: 45 (FAILED)
    214: 5
    215: 65 (ouchie)
    216: 1 (thank you!)
    217: 13
    218: 30
    219: 18
    220: 9
    221: 7
    222: 12
    223: 63 (/cry)
    224: 18
    225: 7
    226: 21
    227: 30
    228: 1
    229: 18
    230: 23
    231: 9
    232: 39
    233: 19
    234: 19
    235: 2
    236: 39
    237: 35
    238: 27
    239: 19
    240: 34
    241: 5
    242: 9
    243: 7
    244: 8
    245: 25
    246: 9
    247: 3
    248: 56 (3 left over combines)

    Combined Demi-Sec Champanges
    249: 60 (/RUDE!! that cost me 1500pp!!)
    250: 8

Champagnes were 520pp per stack to combine. Made 4 stacks of combines to do and then accidently sold the left over bottles to the merchant for a whole spanking 24pp in return /cry...

    Stats from Mino Brews!

    1040 Combines
820 were successful! (yes even number weird huh)

After selling and buying and all that good stuff I was out only 27pp

There's my adventure for the day! That's 2 skills capped at 250

I figured I would finally spend some AA and take another skill to 250. To my chagrin I chose brewing. Here are my stats with 355int 2 hours later:

    201: 163 <-- no joke

I did another 37 combines and no skill up. I was beginning to think that Tanaan Mastery was bugged.

That step from 200 to 201 is no joke, it took me 67 combines after that it went back to the 5 to 15 per skill up. At 214 now had to take a break before I killed someone.

        Congrats at 250!

Shoulda done Kaladim Constitutionals to 250.

100 attemtps only costs 650pp or so total. And almost 2 hours of picking up ground spawns, but who's counting eh?

        Congrats again!

I have literally gone 50-60 or even hundreds without a skill improvement in mino brew... My Wisdom is 300 with a geerlock and a base state of 235.

            What increases skill impromvement?
My record is now 323 without a skill improvement.

How the hell did you get from 200 to 201 in 3 combines?

I must have done 200 mino brews, about 60 QAT and 100 GLB and no skill up It not as if I'm low on wis 255

                asd

Just dinged 206 in brewing last night waiting on a rez... I hate Nadox, BTW.

I usually get about 2-3 points on MHB with 40 full attempts (double supplies bought).

No KEI, Wis is at 216, and I keep geerlok off for skilling up. It almost seems slower to skill up with geerlok on and I can't come to waste KEI when I could be getting AA's/levels on such cheap combines :P

I'll have WIS maxed once I get Winged Death and hit up some Elysians anyway

                  Grats!

I spent over an hour on 241 without budging it, and I get enough of that grief in smithing, so I put brewing aside for a good long while. I'm already effective max with geerlok anyway, and that's perfectly fine for me.

I did appreciate my time doing grobbs liquidized meats though. I've made a lot of money off those things!

I hate foraging. Maybe I'll try the Kaladim constitutionals one day when I can stomach it. Can't be worse than hunting up shadowscream drops.

                    Reflan,

There is no foraging needed in the recipe for KC's. The items you need that are not vendor bought are ground spawns in Kaladim.
