My only tip, be able to afford to lose it, or don't try it.

I got mine on my second try, dex/str do not matter at all (mine were both well below 100), you can be naked except your geerlok, and have the same chance as you would raid buffed.

Made mine on the third try, much to my relief and to the relief of the Ranger buddy of mine that I kept forcing to make my Artisan's Seals. He was afraid he would fail and have me come strangle/beat the 4kpp back out of him.

I was so relieved when I hit that combine button and succeeded on the first try. It took me over a month of pinching every copper to afford it and I knew it would be some time before I could try again. And I must agree, the only purpose buffs server is to provide you with a security blanket. They certainly don’t hurt so knock yourself out if you like, but they won’t have any effect on the outcome. All you can do is hold on tight to your geerlock and hope for the best. The rest is just a mater of luck.

What Wayren was trying to say I believe is this:

Edit meant what Delfontes said. ops: ops: ops:

              1. If you are at skill 250 you will not get a skillup for anything
              2. If you are not going for a skillup then Wis,Int,Str,Dex do not matter
              3. Best chance for success is using a geerlok which the person already is.
              4. Even if buffed to the maximum in all abilities and saves i.e. (RAID BUFFED) it would not help at all.

Once you have maxed out a tradeskill nothing matters except the geerlok or trophy to push you to the 252 limit.[/b]

                hehe, happens

Don't you hate it when people edit threads and make it not make sense so much any more?

                        A trophy?

It's what you get for winning the race.
