If you have the items already, I say go for it! I had exactly *8*pp left after buying the components for mine, so you can imagine how worried I was to click Combine. But, I figured I already had the stuff, and that's why I worked up my skill, so I may as well go for it. Thankfully, I was lucky and got it done.
