Went on a Fay raid in TD for a rogue in my guild yesterday. Thankfully I brought a few stacks of bait to help kill time. Caught 8 seaweed in 55 baits with a 160 fishing skill in that little lagoon where Fay spawns.

So I take this to mean that saltwater seaweed is no longer exclusive to OOT?Zararazu Twoflower, 66 iksar monk, Solusek Ro

Fished some up today with 145 skill, got about 5 off two stacks of bait. Didn't realize that to fish in TD I had to walk a bit into the water, kept catching land sharks if I stood on the shore.Retired -

Just discovered it - no clue how long this has been the case.Originally posted by TroodonSo I take this to mean that saltwater seaweed is no longer exclusive to OOT?
Also caught 12 timerous tuna.
It is possible that this may mean that any zone connected with OoT might have saltwater seaweed potential - I could have sworn that I'd caught some off the FP docks while waiting for the boat long time ago.
One might also want to check fishing off of all of the desert zones south of Freeport since technically they are connected to OoT.
No more EQ for me till they fix the crash bug.

Well, we've seen posts from Yakatzima from time to time, so we know he's reading. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that members of the tradeskill team are reading.
Now, it looks like I can go fishing in OOT or TD and see about getting enough of the Sea Temper stuff to trivial the tempers.Androsulach Phlithvelve
