    Scale Temper

    Scale Temper - sarnak blood, froglok blood, iksar blood, bloodwater
    - used for making tae ew plate armor and tae ew shield

    Trivial at 135 according to this site, I failed on this combine for a guildie yesterday. My skill is 167, no geerlock. Of course I know there is always a chance to fail no matter how high above trivial I am, but i was wondering if anyone had any data on post-trivial failure rates on this item?

    Also something just occured to me, on a failed combine on a trivial item, would I still get the "you can no longer advance your skills..." message? Can't remember right now if that is only on successes.

      Well, I never made a large quanity of this item, but when I had about 170 brewing succeded on 5 out of 5 making this for an iksar SK friend of mine who used them for cultural smithing (getting iksar blood is a real pain, it's extremely rare!). Not exactly a good representative sample, but in my experience you get about a 95% success rate on tempers once your brewing is 155 or higher (on the 135 trivving tempers).

          How to teach yourself a language:

          First - group with someone. Since I have a Bazaar mule on another machine, I group with him.

          Second - zone out (go into whatever zone you want)

          Third - speak in the language you want (that you already have 1 point in..talk to your trainer) until you see the blue message about gaining skill. Note that you are talking in group chat at this point (I have a hotkey)

          Fourth - zone again (anywhere you want) and do it again.

          Fifth through whatever - Rinse, recycle and repeat until you are 100

          I thought I had them all 100 until I grouped with a vah Shir bard who started talking in Vah Shir and I was stunned to realize I had never put a point in it. Been working on that while grouped at raids..;-)
