  • More stat drinks!

    Looking and looking at the stats drinks vs the stat foods I really think there should be more stats drinks, better ones anyways. For stat food people can pick;

    Misty Thicket Picnics (Stat food)
    Hero Sandwichs (Stat food, also what I use)
    Halas 10 lb meat pie (stat food)
    Holy Cake (Resist food)

    That is a short list not counting all the little other items. Then you can just use something like Iron Rations to keep the food longer.

    For stat drinks people can pick from;

    Grobb Liquidised Meat (Stat drink)
    Kaladim Constitutional (Resist drink)
    Qeynos Afternoon Tea (Stat drink, also what I use)

    Granted drinks have a resist item to complemet the resist food and the QAT goes great with a Hero Sandwich but I really think there should be something like a "Liquid Hero Drink." There needs to be more stat drinks, and ones that don't have neg stats, sorry, but my Ranger needs all the WIS he can get. The "Liquid Hero Drink" could be like this;

    Sub-combines:
    2 hero parts and a vial of acid in Oven (Skill=100) makes Liquid Hero Meat (yield 2)
    1 Justice Fruit and a water in Brew Barrel (skill=166) makes Justice Fruit Flavoring (yield 2)

    Then in a Brew Barrel
    1 Liquid Hero Meat
    1 Celestial Essence
    1 Justice Fruit Flavoring
    1 Soda Water
    1 Cask
    1 Cork
    1 Corking Device
    Triv of over 250, yield 5, stats:

    Liquid Hero Drink
    Miraculous Drink
    +7 STR +10 DEX +8 STA +10 AGI +6 WIS +6 INT +4 CHA +30 HP +30 Mana
    recommended Level 20
    wt 1.0 Size: Large
    ALL/ALL

    That's just my 2cp, what do you all think?

    I think you’ll find your preaching to the converted here. Heck, I’d be happy if we got more drinks with extended duration, even without stat enhancements. Our selection of non-alcoholic drinks is very sadly lacking.

          One can only wish, hehe. They've made pelts, spider silk, metal sheets, clay, etc. stack... but for some reason never did this for the brewers. If they haven't done it by noe, they probably never will.

            I think your stats are a bit outta whack, especially for your yield. If you look at the yields on hero sandwiches you will see it takes a total of 4 meat to make the combines, or about a 1:1 ratio IF you succeed on all combines. Your recipe would yield 5 from 2. At the yields you list it would be insane to use hero meat for sandwiches anymore, not to mention Sony would never give a food/drink those kinds of stats with the posible exception of elemental+ planes drops, and most likely not even then.

            That said, I'd love it if someone at sony liked your idea and implemented it at those stats.

              Silly question, can anyone think of any drinks (other than fish wine, obviously) that could be done with fish? I can't see a way of justifying broth being anything but baking, and I'm kinda stuck in terms of any drink that would involve fish at all...

                Don't forget Surefall Ranger's Trail Juice.
                (involves fish for making the aradors).
                miraculous drink, DEX 4, STA 4, WIS 4

                Pretty decent stats, I use these myself... they were also great for increases towards 200 brewing and my pottery skill to make the aradors (fishing is already 200).

                The pain of this one is the foraging for the Surefall Saps, which can really take quite some time. Successful combines yield 2 trail juices thankfully. I may just be lucky, but I received 12 increases for 80 combines (158 - 170 , triv is 202 ) and a total of 98 trail juices. Thats 61 percent success rate so far - kinda nice. I plan on doing a lot more of them, it's just the foraging for that saps that's the painful part of them (no one seems to sell surefall sap in bazaar).

                  I HATE CASKS! I think nothing of combining 200 Headys yet shudder at the thought of making 20 Shakers because of the casks.

                    thank god for a trackball and summoned 10 slot backpacks :twisted:

                    Casks are horrible, but it wasnt so hard in Felwithe when I was skilling up, had all my slots full of 10 slot summoned bags, and was at the brew barrel (only one there?) near the merchants. not too difficult to make 40 or 60 combines and then go buy more casks. although I did get very iritated and slaughter crushbone after I was done :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
