  • Nerf!

I just did 77 combines of Kaladim Constitutional.

These should have a 50% success rate as a GM.

So I should have had exactly 154 finished product. (Yah, 154 doesn't go into 4 evenly, but I still should have had that many exactly)

When done combining I count, guess how many?

    Nope, guess again.

    How'd you guess? That's right, I had 148. Success rate= 48%

This means I was 1 and 1 half successes off.

Obviously from this hard data the success rate on Kaladim has been reduced significantly.

I also had a 0% success rate through my first 3 combines.

Do with this information what you will, I only ask that if you must picket in front of Sony HQ, do not use my name.

    RE: nerf

    I agree with this one.

I have always had a 50-60 percent success. I always combine 2 stacks of supplies and end up with 84-88 finished product.

Lately ( like the last 6 times I've doen this ) I have been getting 68 per 2 stacks of combines. Thats a big added loss.

I have /bugged this in hopes its a bug and not a stealth nerf.

Yes, complete and utter humor, please do not take it seriously. I should be more obvious in my disclaimers . The figures are accurate and hopefully helpful to someone starting Kali, or a bit frustrated with their success rate.

How does one have a half success anyhow to ensure an exact 50%?

On Kali I have done about 350 combines or so ever, and am somewhere extremely close to 50%, if not 51-52%.

Every fail hurts though, as a success sells for 80pp in bazaar, and I have yet to get anyone to purchase a failed combine .

Again, do not agree with this post, unless adding to the humor. Their has been no nerf.

            /humor off

To be honest, I’ve paid little attention to my success rate. All I wanted was my last two skill points. It’s the cheaper of my two options, so I’m taking it. So far I’ve made 120 combines without a single skill up. I just gathered more fungus last night so I may try another run tonight. I noticed that I failed on a lot of my combines so I’ve purposely not kept count. It would be too depressing. *smiles* At least I have my trophy now, so the pressure’s off. But I still want those last two points, darn it.

Has anyone had success selling these in the bazaar? I’ve seen them for sale on Seventh Hammer for 15pp each so I matched the price and haven’t sold any in over week. I dropped them down to 10pp this morning before heading off to work, so maybe someone will find them more appealing.

Calabar, on selling Kali, I wouldn't undercut.

I have had them up for more than a week at a time with no sales, and it isn't the price.

When someone who knows what they are runs out, it is often for their whole guild, and they buy out bazaar at whatever price.

So I leave mine at 20pp, and they dont sell at all forever, even though no one else is selling or undercutting, then all of them will sell at once.

I did sell occasional 1-3 to random people that force drink or use for raids, but usually there is 1 person buying a whole lot.

I definately wouldn't go under 15pp on them, just the principle of something that is so expensive on sub combines, and so prone to failure, makes it worth that.

I did this on my 20 wizard last night

                256 INT

30 combines to make 250 from 248. (yes, I consider myself lucky)

went 52 for 100. That's about what I expected to get, but it was depressing to see all those failures. Heh

                  I usually do 80 combines at a time (250 w/geerlok):

                  sometimes I get 60%

                  sometimes I get 40%

I get pissed off when I get 40% though....

                    wow!

I stopped selling when price was driven down to 12pp

Yeah, they've been selling for 15pp on Saryrn for the past month. Before that, it was 25pp. Man, at 25pp I was raking it in.

It's always that one guy who has a never ending supply (~300) who sells for 15pp.

If they go any lower, I'm hanging up my Corking Device. I can get better cash farming for Research components solo... and get exp too.

                        Not Kidding

I admit I did not read the original post in great enough detail to notice its sarcasm. This was due to the fact that I have what I beleive to be a legitimate issue with Kaladim Constitutionals.

You can think Im kidding but Im tellin ya it changed.
EVERY DAY I make 40 combines worth of KCs.
                        I always get 84-88.

I have been getting 64-68 for 2 weeks now.
No Joke. laugh it up if ya want but this is on hundreds of combines I concluded this.

So how does one get above the 255 cap, below level 61? I would really like to know as my mage has an unbuffed INT of 249, and my 55 druid has an unbuffed WIS of 246. With KEI, every time I look at the INT or WIS numbers (depending on char) I only see 255.....

                            It's a typo.

231 int plus 25 from KEI makes 256.

It only displays 255 of course.

I'm making fairly good plat on KC's and on GLM's.

However, it appears that 10PP for KC's on Xegony is fairly common. It's still good money, but it could be better.

                            No complaints.
