  • Grobb Liquidized Meat Logistics

I have recently got my brewing up to 220 for smithing purposes but I am hoping to make some cash doing GLM.

As an Iksar where is the best place to get all the ingredients and combine for GLM without a great deal of travel?

Shadowhaven. Don't know of any place else that has all the ingredients...but then, I haven't looked either.

Yes, everything you’ll need, except for the corking device, you can find in Shadow Haven. However, you may need to do a fast little quest before many of the merchants will sell to you. Check out this quest: (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=1449). There is no combat involved, just two deliveries. The second one requires you to run past some non-moving plants, but a level one character can do it if he or she is careful. Invisibility is very useful and SoW will make it go faster but isn’t required.

I would also suggest printing out a map of SH and a list of what merchants sell what. Everything you need is there, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to find.

There's only a handful of merchants that won't sell to me in SH, but I just use sneak and that's not a problem.

If you're not a monk though the quest mentioned above will fix the problem.

          WARNING!

I couldn't find the guy that sells soda.

River Mudhands is his name, I stood on the exact loc from the main website and no go. No idea where the guy is. I suggest you get your soda from PoK or something. Otherwise, yes it was all in the bazaar.

I did 100 combines of this last night... at 250 skill... and succeeded 93 out of 100. So, I've got over 550 of them to sell.

Pretty sure River Mudhands is one of the four little people in tinytown by the kiln.

That is where he is located. He faces the wall where the pottery wheel is.

Yah, she wouldn't sell to me, she is a dwarf and has a thing against erudites.

I have a good round though, I go to Shadowhaven and make the Rat/Snake/Gator sub combines, until I have equal stacks.

Then port to PoK, turn left the first building upstairs there is a guy who does want my money, and sells soda (buy 10% more than you need, no sense having to walk back if you have bad luck on sodawater, sell the extra back later). Then I float over continuing in the same direction, the next building also upstairs has a guy that sells corks.

Then keep walking still in the same direction, you get to the brew barrel, and accross a guy who sells water, make soda water, buy malt and casks from the guy in the building right there, next to another brew barrel, do final combines.

                Works very well.

Edit: You must be a port class for this pattern to work, if you use book to PoK you are landing near the bank at the nexus stone, and the circle I described is out of your way. Whats the point if you can't port anyhow?

Or you could spend TWO MINUTES doing the faction necklace quest, and save yourself mana, time, and running around.

Hey, if that little wench doesn't want my money, I'm sure as heck not gonna go out of my way to help her friends out.

Want me to create a level one character on whatever backwater server you lurk under, and hold your hand through it?

                        Darn it

You win, I'll go do the quest tonight, just to get you to stop taunting me. hehe

I still wont buy from her, even if she does like me... I don't like people who don't wanna sell to me .

Sorry for the derail folks, seriously though, if you are a porting class, that circle works perfectly, it seems less out of the way than her hiding place back with the dwarves anyhow.
