New GM Brewer on Test!

Spent a bunch of time on the Mino brews this weekend and finally got to 248. I had my geerlok, so i figured I'd try for the trophy. Got it on the first shot. Now to get those last 2 points. Anyone have a suggestion to get those last 2? I'm thinking Kaladim Constitutional.

And to answer your question...I think that Cattywumpus said it best:

Kaladim Constitutionals are the way to go for the unlucky or those with low int/wis since the per combine price is lower but it requires a corking device which costs 2kpp+ on most servers (unless you have a gnome in your pocket).

Champagne is more expensive per combine but if you get lucky you can save a bundle getting to 250.

If your ultimate goal is the trophy do the KCs since you will need the corking device for your trophy attempt anyway.

If your goal is just hitting 250 then go with the champagne, you will likely save money overall.

Champagne is the route I'll be taking in another 7 points.

It really does depend on what you plan on doing with your brewing skill. I want to be able to make the Grobb Liquidized Meat drinks, as disgusting as that sounds. So I needed a corking device anyway. And it’s just as well considering my luck. I was getting 1 skill up per 20 to 40 combines making the Hero Brew. But I just finished 120 combines of Kaladim Constitutionals without a single skill up. *sigh*

Congratulations on your trophy. Being continually broke, I’m still gathering materials to attempt mine. Hopefully I’ve paid my dues on Kaladim Constitutionals and I’ll make my trophy on the first combine as well.

i'll probably go with a little of both kaladim constitutionals and champagnes....i'd have to buy another corking device...but it's not as bad on test server as it is on other servers. i think i bought the one i used on the trophy combine for 200pp. hopefully i can get him to make another one for me. shouldn't be a problem, i buy tons of stuff off him.

Make some Kaladim Constitutionals for Dark and Dette. :P They wanted some but with skill of 198 I only succeeded on 2 of 60 attempts.

And thanks for the corking device btw Splunge, I'm happy making Grobb Liquid Meat for now.
