Has anyone noticed an increased failure rate making these as of late?

at 250 skill, the last batch I made 180 combines, think I was getting just under a 50% success rate.. and the previous batch I had done, same amount of combines (I think), was abit more than 50% success rate, and my skill was high 220s, (been too long, forgot exactly what my skill was.)Diania Moonspirit

Yeah, I thought it was just a cranky RNG. Used to be my success rate was consistently a bit over 50%--last batch of 160 I was under 50%, batch of 160 before that I was at 50% on the nose.Sir Carmaris Stoneheart

thats about average
I see under 50% success at 250 skill with trophy. Its such a pain to make, I tell folks to go buy them from someone else in the bazaar. At 10pp each, it is not worth my time to make them. The only time I make some is when our guild has a raid.

250 skill + trophy + geerlock
Up until recently i was getting successes at the rate of around 55%, but the last couple of times I've sat down to make them, I'm getting consistently under 50%, both for each batch of 20 combines, and for an afternoons combines (eg 160 combines), usually getting around 7-8 success per 20 combines with the occasional 10 from 20, this is a much reduced success rate, to the extent I may just start to keep them for personal use only and forget selling them in the bazaar.

hmm... this report is kinda depressing. I tried a very small batch of constitutionals at skill 218 with geerlok. I made 5 of 12 and decided I should skill up more. After driving myself crazy making my hero brews to 222, I see from the thread here that even at 250 my success rate won't go up much more.

p.s. I've never liked people price fixing too much, but every now and then on my server a certain person shows up in the bazaar selling constitutionals for 10pp each (and grobb drink for 5pp or less). That's VERY frustrating. With all the subcombines, ground spawn farming, and the sheer time spent mindlessly clicking to skill up and to make the stuff, it's not worth it at all for me to make at those sell prices. Why do people place so LITTLE value on their time?

Making kaladim Constitutionals...
I also get a 45 to 55 percent success rate on these as well (250 skill).
Also, I sell my kaladim's at 10 to 12pp each. Its not so much as I place little value on my time, I feel that the above price is a good representation of the time it takes me to make them, and the time it took to skill up to 250. Plus, at that price I sell much much more than the standard price of my server 25 to 30pp.
btw, time to skill up to 248 was 12 to 14 hours, time to make 40 combines per day is 30mins ... my brewer is a druid so that helps alot.

I would not be selling these at 10-12pp considering there are other drinks that you'll be hurting in the process of undercutting. A price range of around 30-35pp is fair giving the other drinks a good range to sell. I sell these on Solusek Ro for 30pp minimum, I'm not worried about selling since I'm not in it for the plat as much as the drink being available most times.Clementine Darling
