essence of fire

Where can I find essence of fire, or who do I have make it for me. I have been looking for it for awhile now.

I'm pretty sure these are dropped by mobs in the Lavastorm region. Possibly in Solusek A or B, Nagafen's Lair, or Najena. I wish I could tell you which mobs. Sorry for the scanty info.

If anyone knows better than me, please post. I've personally only found them on merchants.

EoF can also be found on the fire elementals in Twilight Sea, or so I've heard, haven't actually killed any in the past few days to make certain. If you're trying to make the fiery weapons, the imp blood is gonna be the backstop, only fire imps in Lavastorm, and I think imps in Sol B drop it, and there's only 2 that spawn at once in Lavastorm, and if you don't kill them before the fire elementals do, you're out of luck

Imp blood is indeed the bottleneck. You can get them from fire imps and sprites in Lavastorm (just kill anything that moves and they'll eventually spawn), the Imp Protectors in SolB, and off of Kindle in SolA. I've gotten about 3 for every 5 Kindle spawns. The fire sprites/imps drop about 1 in 8.
