Okay, just trudged through skill level 0 - 248 in a three day sitting spree... but now I'm at a loss on how to get it up higher.

Do I have to go the champagne route? Seems that would cost at least 40pp per combine (19pp/opal; 10.5pp/enchanted gold; tip for the JC). Given the ammount of been clicking recently, it would take at least two stacks to get those last two skill points and be up to 250.

Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

Kaladim Constitutionals are considerably cheaper (~5pp per combine) and can sell to the general public for 15 - 30pp depending on your server's market.

Sadly, the JC person I talked to about making the champagne magnum was amazingly quick in doing so... and I now have 50 or the things, so I'm pretty much set in stone.

One final question (for now, /smirk) ... where is soda water? I checked the ingredients list on eqtraders and only found a reference to "soda". Doesn't seem to be any reference to it on Alla'khazamer either.

Kaladim Constitutionals are the way to go for the unlucky or those with low int/wis since the per combine price is lower but it requires a corking device which costs 2kpp+ on most servers (unless you have a gnome in your pocket).

Champagne is more expensive per combine but if you get lucky you can save a bundle getting to 250.

If your ultimate goal is the trophy do the KCs since you will need the corking device for your trophy attempt anyway.

If your goal is just hitting 250 then go with the champagne, you will likely save money overall.

Hehe, I never stop to think about the corking device...a GM brewer without a corker...can't see the logic in it.

Corking devices (and Artisan's Seals) are much cheaper now that BD prices have bottomed out at about 500pp each on CT.

Plus I do have a Tinker in my pocket, I supply him with PoP tinkering supplies I vendor mine (at cost), he'll make me any tinkered thingie I can get up the components for (at cost). So I got both my corking device and my old corking device (that went into my GM corker) for a BD and a branch of sylvan oak.

What to do with Champagne Magnums

Make Demi-Sec Champagne from the Champagne Magnums.

You should be able to sell them for 50pp or so. They are needed for the Earring of the Solstice quest (FT1 earring).
