After putting it off for way too long, working on farming stuff for timeless energy drink. Not having too bad a time with everything I've farmed so far, but wondering if anyone knows of spots where the CDD drops fairly well. That's looking to be the biggest pain point for me so far.

I agree this seems to be the slow spot in the recipe component gathering. CDD are global random drops, they seem most common off level 60ish mobs, though I've seen them drop off a much larger range than that. I got a couple in Velks over several hours (level 45 -50 mobs). Sunderock springs and Steppes could be likely places too. I once found 6 on vendor in Sunderock, I was soo happy. And I got one off a mistwalker in Arcstone while hunting for water spirit dust. They seem to be uncommon in the bazaar as well, though thats probably the most regular supply you'll find.

I got lucky and found like a stack or two on a merchant awhile back:-) The PITA drops for me are the Elemental Spirit dusts.

Heh, they're non-existent in the bazaar....

But thanks for all the responses...been picking up a few while farming other components, but no where near enough. Will check steps once I have all other components.

I have picked up most of these in process of farming other ingredients. From my experience, Sunderrock and Arcstone seem to be the best (least worst) spot to see them drop.

They have about a 5% drop rate from most mobs in The Steppes (gnolls, spiders, lizards). That is no a bad place to hunt them, which is abotu as high as it gets for any location with enough mobs to farm them from.

I picked up about 30 CDDs in Devastation and Sverag during the process of flagging at alt for Razorthorn access. Killed a load of light blue/green cons (to 85) as part of completing the three tasks needed for the Enraged Flesh Charm. When the day comes I need to farm more CDD, these zones will be my first stop.

Good to know...picked up a few (15 or so) while farming Sunderrock...then got real lucky and a packrat friend of mine handed me 40. Made four stacks of the drink and have components left over for 10 more (drinks, not stacks!).

Icewell keep is where I farm them go all way up to dain and jump in pit the jell-o mobs and the golem mobs drop them a lot
