saltwater seaweed (no drop), is now tradeable. I had this item from my ranger long ago. Got it fishing in the Ocean of Tears waiting for boat on the Sister Isle. I just sold it in bazaar for 4pp or so, just thought this will help.
On the Tempers and Tanning Agents page, in the Known Locations for Temper Materials, the Saltwater Seaweed is listed as NODROP. It is no longer nodrop. It is tradable, but not vendor sellable.
I'd jsut like to say that I believe this change came to be based on a feedback campaign I started on Xegony. I was whiling away the hours fishing for human cultural skillups, and I got the idea to do a feedback to make it stackable. I got just about everyone in OOT an multiple evenings to feedback, and got my entire guild, people in the auction channel, and in the tradeskill channel as well - all asking for seaweed to be stackable. I know at the time I was the ONLY person on my server that it would immediately affect. I was in OOT all the time and I would have noticed other people fishing. The next patch after that feedback campaign, the change was made to seaweed. Now why on earth would Verant mess with an item that hasn't been changed since it's inception, and is only used by maybe 30-40 at most at a time across all the servers? I like to think it was my little campaign that got the change made. ^^
And I would like to think that Christopher Lloyd made the Anaheim Angels win the World Series this year. I know *many* human smiths (my paladin is one of them) that has griped about the seaweed being too hard to come by. Your campaign certainly helped, but certainly not the basis. They changed the Affliction enhancing Focus effect after 9 months(?). I don't think that was because of a campaign either. I believe they were both on a "we will get around to it" list and they finally got around to it. Either way, I must thank you for making a big fuss of it on your server. Perhaps your campaign moved it further up the "we will get around to it" list. =)
