king's thorn...how do I get the gnome to sell to me ?

I saw someone mention that as a bard, you need to sneak. So long as your bard is at least level 11, you can sing Cinda's and it should give you high enough faction with her.

I recommend Cinda's anyway because with a nice flute, you can raise your faction enough to get best prices from the gnome.

I wanted to thank you all for your help in assisting me to try and get the King's Thorn for my Brewing. I tried several differents ways to get her to open up. Here's what worked...and what didn't.

I tried with my main char...a Druid Halfling...it was a no go. Then I thought of my chanter...I brought her on...had her cast illusion of gnome on herself...and alliance on the gnome...she still scowled at me.

I then brought my druid back and tried casting Form of Greater Wolf on her...the gnome just laughed and continued to scowl at me. I had one last suggestion that I hadn't tried....I walked behind her and began to sneak up on her. THIS time she opened up and sold her wares to me. I hope this helps others.
