Here are my numbers to get from 248 to 300. (248 was storebought using MHB's.)
Since no vendor bought path to 300, I leveled an enchanter to 27 to enchant gold bars for Brut Champagne:
Opal 17pp, gold bar 10pp, soda 2pp, misc 1p. = 30pp with a Resale value 2P.
total cost per attempt ~28pp after sellback
All combine totals below do not include extras attempts from salvage
I do not have Brewing mastery. Primary stat changed over the course of skillups and is noted below.
I used an 8% mod PoR Brewing trophy for most of the combines (It actually level'd to 12% about a hundred combines early)
395 Wis:
235 Brut champagne - 11 skillup ending at 259
200 Brut champagne - 11 skillup ending at 270
405 Wis:
202 Brut champagne - 10 skillup ending at 280
415 Wis:
280 Brut champagne - 11 skillup ending at 291
220 Brut champagne - 7 skillup ending at 298
40 Brut champagne - 1 skillup ending at 299
54 Brut champagne - 1 skillup ending at 300
1231 total combines (again not inc. extra's from Salvage III)
total approx cost: 34,468pp
and since Kryros is gonna wanna check his calculator, I'll do it for him.

10 skillups at 404 wis:
225 attempts calc'd at 6,339pp vs. 202 actual combines at 5,656pp
20 skillups at 415 wis:
621 attempts calc'd at 17,450pp vs 594 actual combines at 16,632pp
total calc'd attempts 1258 vs 1231 actual
total calc'd plat 35,496pp vs. 34,468 actual pp
wow. pretty freakin' good calculator. what probably threw off the numbers is that i did not count how many extra combines i got from salvage.
