  • A very quick very easy question

I have searched around in various forums both here and on other sites as well as checked the main site recipes. I was curious, is the corking device consumed in the combine for Kaladim Constitutionals? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

No, it is only consumed in the GM Brewer's cork

I know it's a repeat question, but the answer is unfortunately not a given. Baking tools aren't consumed in any instance that I've noticed, but since the champagne consumes the magnum (not really a surprise to me, though pricey), and Ranger's trail juice consumes the arador (a very expensive surprise) I too was concerned that the corking device might be consumed. Luckily I gleaned otherwise without posting the question, but I've been reading the boards for a very long time. Perhaps which items are and are not consumed should be added to the FAQ?

I gather he was lamenting that he had had several corking devices consumed in unsuccessful trophy attempts (as expensive as they are, worth lamenting, I'd say), rather than that the question had been asked too often...

Oh, good point. I had just read the dead horse thread, so took it as a complaint that this was one. You're probably right about the trophys. ops:

Whoops, yes, mine was a lament that you lose extra blue diamonds and need to find another tinker when you fail on the GM Brewers trophy.

Only failed once so far, but I do plan on lamenting on my next fail as well

And, just to put a point on the suggestion of listing the items which are/aren't consumed on the recipe page:

On the brewing recipe page, if it doesn't specifically say something is consumed, it isn't (there's a note about magnums and aradors, for example).

Further, on the upcoming database, each and every recipe is VERY explicit about what and how many things go into and come out of every combine, so any worries you might have will be completely laid to rest.

Zallarenya, I did sortof assume that that was the case, but I still held my breath the first time I hit combine on GLMs :P I'm really looking forward to the DB going live though!

                    Aradors...

Interesting on the Aradors, I've made so many of those @#$% things I don't have room for them anymore. With 6 on each successful combine, they add up quick.

The Surefall Sap is what drives me nuts. Takes nearly 2 hours for me to forage a stack.
