  • A blight at the Greybloom farm?

I read that the (mushroom + fungi) spawns have changed from (10 + 7) to an even (9 + 9). Well, I was going to confirm this with a guildie but there have been no groundspawns for well over 30 minutes!

There's a thread in General Tradeskill forum about this, spawn appears to be broken.

That said, I did pick up in the neighborhood of 9 stacks of each last week (or maybe it was the week before, not sure) and they were definitely at the 9/9 ratio.

Wonder which of the Greybloom lasses will become Mrs FoamyMugs when Brodder finally retires...I hear they have plans.

Plans Brodder doesn't know about. Bristlebane at work again I'm sure- Brell wouldn't be that cruel to his Priest of Yeast and Vicar of Liquor.

I'm sure the King's in on it, wanting Brodder to stay home and bring in more trade to Kaladim.

There's a large valley to the North and west of the Chessboard that's accessed via a long blocked off passage that is guarded by the Dwarven Lass who resides in the shack back there.

There is supposedly another secret tunnel that leads from the Greybloom farm too to that area.

Rumors have it that there are at least six major breweries, farms and fields of grain and specialty brewing materials back there.

But word is that the very dragon that was killed by the one armed dwarven hero (see the newbie axe quest in kaladim) landed back there and blocked off both passages in his death throws.

What's happened to the Dwarves and Gnomes back there as well as the half elves. . . twenty generations of cross breeding has bound to caused some interbreeding.

Word has it that the warriors back here have hidden themselves from Vishan and the Dragon council and guard great brewing secrets as well as ways to defeat dragon magics.

With the opening of the valley of the dragons and a new race entering Antonica finding these hybrids might be the start of the great war, or the salvation of the world.

BRodder has secrets and matching him up with either the lass alone by the chess board or with the Greybloom twins might be the only way to open up the passages again. . .

(this is a segment from a very old proposal to EQ back when I suggested that the valley visible from the deserts of antonica where the giants roam, be made into access to a new zone and races rulled by dragons seperate from the Vishan and Circle be opened- some 8 years ago- I had the area north and west of kaladim (Look at the old maps of Faydwer to see what I mean))

Rumors have it that Catbik Tinkerton has created a large one way transport to fire a group at a time over the mountains into this area. It will take lots of fighting to clear the undead from near the passages and rebuild the guardians and the Temple of Brell on that side.
Once the temple is rebuilt- perhaps then a new Priest can be slotted (Brodder Foamymugs himself? or one of his clan mates) into holding that slot.

Possibly each ride in Catbik's Cannon could be used as an Instance for a group raid. And X number of raids need be done to clear an area and allow a Larger Raid force to enter (ala time event) to open the zone to all.

But then again- this all might be just a plan by the Greybloom twins to get Brodder close enough and drunk enough to get him to marry them.
