I've had foragers sitting in Natimbi for days on end, never ever got a wheat.

I think Taelosian Wheat drops in KT, I have 4 in my inventory (only vendor bought one or two).

Mountain wheat drops Kod'taz and above. go kill in Natimbi and get your regular taelosian wheat. it IS on the loot tables, maybe not the forage tables, but when I go there to forage I kill also to get a higher rate of all items. it's random off of any mob. as is aligned ore, and all sorts of other things. and atm, aligned ore is needed for trophy stuff, so why not get it and sell it if you don't need it.

I had some normal normal wheat drop in KT, no mountain wheat, also, haven't ever gotten a wheat in natimbi.

OK.. I was worried they had nerfed it after your reply, but I ran out to natimbi yesterday and today, kited a few mobs, and had a regular Taelosian Wheat drop this morning. I knew it used to drop there because I have about 15 stacks of it unrefined in my bank atm, after refining another 10 stacks. I knew I did not get 25 stacks in KT or above, because I don't have access to those zones.. never bothered with it. I won't say it's a common drop.. but. I needed the chunks of taelosian rock and aligned ore drops too.. so farming Natimbi is never a loss for me.
Farming greenies kinda hurts as far as XP goes.. but *shrug* ya do whatcha gotta do.
