Ok I made some of these, after a whirlwind of foraging various zones. What seems to be a fair price for them? To my knowledge they are the best drink in game.

People are trying to charge 2-3k each on Xegony... Personally I wouldn't pay that much, since I'm stat-capped in so many areas anyway.

I've seen them for 400-500pp so not insane but still high. I think Pitaya is the hardest to get of all items. Once all foragers get going most if not all can be had for a few plats each and when you consider yeild 5 of each fruits plus 5 of juie of Q (total 25 if no failed) so theorically 1 plat each should still be decent and profitable.

The level of foraging you need to do for this is crazy high. 7 different foraged items from at least 5 different zones. The actual making of is easy but the foraging is borring long and annoying. If you think someones price is too high go forage your own for a while. Took me a week for my first batch of 500 finished product.

I forgot to mention it in beta but I think that +5 all resists would be better than +5 all stats. More people have need of resists than stats.

We already have Kaladim Constitutionals, which are +5 to stamina and all saves.

I think this will become my new drink of choice. I have everything I need for a batch except the pitaya.

I've seen them selling for about 500pp each on Saryrn.

Personally I'm giving the ones I make to my friends and guildmates, it's not too terribly hard to get the stuff to make them, and they certainly aren't that costly as far as other components - unless you can't forage.

Oddly enough, Pitaya has been the easiest of the ingredients for me personally. I have over 80 pitaya banked. I think that is because our guild has been questing / raiding in and around Devastation lately and the foragers have been ever so kind to save them for me.

I'm finding emerald oranges to be the most difficult, myself. But then I'm foraging impaired as a cleric.

I've seen 'em going for as high as 750pp on Bertoxx--and yes, they're moving at that price.

Still haven't been able to make any myself...can't forage and the rarer ingredients just aren't available in the bazaar.

I would say 50-100 pp per rare forage. Considering that is a going rate at least on my server.

So average 75pp x 5 then add 1 more count for the 2 common forages, the viscous mana creation and the cost of going through making the drink.

SO. Anywhere from 300-600pp would seem reasonable to me. It really would depend on your servers economy too.

Think you're over-estimating the difficulty on some of the berries, Aldier.

Not sure how rare the Rathe Berries are...but some of the difficulty in acquiring them is definitely that they're from a mostly un-utilized zone.

Oranges are darn rare (friend foraged 6 in 5+ hours; and yes, he's maxxed forage).

Pomegranates, however, are ground spawns in Elddar, I collected 2+ stacks in a few hours.

Sylvan berries can be looted off mobs in LFay and I'm told they're not rare when foraging. I've managed to collect two stacks...took longer than necessary because I spent time mass slaughtering fairies that either don't drop or drop very rarely.

Pitaya...well, gotta go to Devestation, not sure when I'm going to be able to convince my forager to do that

Rathe berries are probably more common than orange but not much. With my bard with 50 in forage I got 5 orange in about 8 hours vs 14 rathe berries in 6 hours in lake rathe.

Sylvan berries pop up in bazaar once in a while, usually 20-50pp so I usualle don't bother to forage. I do save em when I farm brownies and they drop the berries.

regular berries and fruit are very common. And pomegrate like you said are easy as well. Just watch for see invis mob and you should be ok. Picked up a few treant branches and green apples as well.

I would say, for non common forage items. 25-100 pp is reasonable prices.

For instance, the foraged/dropped items for LoY tailoring dyes are roughly 50-100 pp on my server.

I agree, the Rathe Berries are not TOO difficult to forage, but the Oranges and the Sylvan Berries, I have MUCH more difficulty foraging. If you saw each of these rarer fruits/berries for 50pp would you buy them?

I am not counting regular fruit, regular berries. And some would consider the time spent putting everything together to possibly cost more than 1 item considering you need a chanter (or any researcher now if you want to spend more pp) to bottle some mana that requires potion vials and pearls as reagents it becomes almost as much work. I luckily have several very nice chanters in my guild almost always willing to share their mana with me.

I guess I got lucky and got 36 oranges in roughly 8 hours.

Again, I want to emphasize that each server's economy will vary slightly. I could reasonably see me charging 300-600 pp on Cazic for this. Of course that is afer I stockpile some for me and my guildies

At this point, yeah, I'd pay 50pp for the rarer forages...simply because they aren't available right now and I'd really love to make this for myself and some friends--at this point, making to sell isn't even a consideration. I'd have to stockpile quite a bit of the rarer fruits before I start selling 'em, at any price.

Lemme give you my expierences for the first 40 and second 40 that I'm foraging for now.

Note that I log on a druid on a diff account and leave them in the required zone while I raid, occasionally hitting the 3xforage key I have setup. I need to remember to hit this key every 5 min.

Rathe Berries - Foraged only in Lake Rathe, seems common enough, can get to 40 in 1 long night or 2 normal evenings.

Emerald Oranges - Just as common as Rathe, these are best aquired in Trakanon's Teeth I've found.

Sylvan Berries - As a forage these are rare as all creation! To get my first batch of 40 took 2 VERY long nights from the start of raids till when I went to bed long after raids were over. If I hunted while foraging this probably would have gone faster however.

Fruit/Berries - Will be gotten while you forage the other items.

My current forage bot doesnt have the expantion so I cannot use it to get pomegranite and pitaya but I have guildies collect them for me and I use them as I get them and bank all my successes or give them to guildies. In fact I'm getting a pretty good skillup on these. 261 now, though it probably wont keep up that way, all this foraging is just killing me. I did all this because I just wouldnt be willing to pay the price that I know people will want to charge for these. They are honestly alot of work for 1 man!

I still think this drink should be HP/MANA and resits, this expantion is trying to bring back some of the importance of resists and I think the food/drink shoudl reflect that. Sorry I forget to mention that in Beta Ngreth I was a bit excited to be the person to figure out the recipie first!

and I still think you should name the reseach trophy after me!
I'm going to hit you until candy comes out!

I used KCs until PoR was released. Why? Because I had a ton of them from working skills not to mention, at the time, they were one of the best stat drinks out there. I still am making them to work on my skill, 287, and after I get 300, my trophy made, I will probably continue to collect stuff to skill trophy up to level 7.

I play a druid. Foraging is what I do. So that does help me. I have not had anyone give me any of the rarer forages (also the PoR items are ground spawns and somewhat plentiful for what I have seen), but I keep asking for them.

Look at other foraged items used in tradeskills. LoY tailoring ribbons first thing that comes to mind. I feel that is a good measuring stick for what the rarer forage items should go for. Fruit and Berries only non rare forages imo. Take 6 times the price of those rare forages on your server and that seems reasonable to me. This is also one of the first hp/mana drinks I have had easy access to. I did not really do much with Taelosian teas, because I could not see 6hp/mana and a few stats being better than my KCs. I see 25 hp/mana better than 5sta and 5 all resists. I wish JoQ had resists on it, but with a bard I am max resists too so its almost a moot point for me. However, PoR is proving to have many more AEs than we are used to and resists may be more important for having high individual resists without the help of others.
