    Escape to Norrath Brewing

    G'day everyone,

    Here is a question for ya. Unfortunately I'm at work and can't investigate it myself atm, but I will tonight and post a follow-up if there isn't any response.

    Can you make any alcoholic drinks in the Escape to Norrath free trial?

    I am positive I've seen a brew barrel there, but I do not remember being able to buy any supplies. (For example, rice, barley, malt... I think I remeber seeing bottles.) I've a friend I'm trying to get hooked on EQ and he is having a blast but each time I tell him about some other aspect of EQ... he has got to go out and try it. He created a warrior and wants to start early on his alcohol tolerance.

    My thoughts are
    a bottle of kalish... all I have to do is forage fruit and veggies.... everything else is available...
    Gnomish Spirits... I need to buy some rice, but everything else is available.

    Any suggestions?

    Jum jum spiced beer is good since the yield is like 10 and it has a lowish trival:-)

      True, but in gloomingdeep can you find the brewing ingredients? Barley and Hops?

        Ooh, I didn't even think of Gloomingdeep. We'd be happy to track tradeskill materials for there, too. We just need the usual info, vendor names and locs and whatnot.

          LOL, guess I've volunteered. I'll see if I can track down everything including any of the various TS containers and anything on the vendor that is TS tagged in unlimited quantities. I'll list it in the DB submitions.

          Ummm, as far as drops... I'll pass em along as I loot it.

            Hehe, I wasn't specifically addressing you, Flehmen, but you're welcome to tackle it. And yes, DB submissions would be great.

              Well, I found mead in unlimited supply in the newbie zone, but I did not find any *alcoholic* drink to be made.... Haven't looked at it very hard however as once I got my list of available stuff I had an interuption.

              I'll post more if anything changes.
