  • What do you make to show off?

I've been tasked with putting together some adult beverages for a party this weekend, and while I had no trouble providing the non-alcoholic beverages, I'm a bit stumped as to what to make for the good stuff. So I thought I'd come ask my fellow sots, what do you make when you want to show off your skill and knowledge of the brewing craft?

I was thinking perhaps some schnapps.
    Maybe some skull ale.
A couple stacks of MHB's for old time's sake.
I was specifically asked to make some champagne.

As much fun as it would be to make brain blasters, I simply haven't got the time or the energy to farm kirin horns.

I really despise the drinks with Intoxication as an effect, but I was thinking about making them to highlight their usefulness as a very cheap insta-click (or is there a cast time? It's been too long since last I made one). I do have a stack of green rangers already made.

If foraged components are required, try to limit it to someplace a 62 RNG can go safely.

    Thanks in advance,
    C

Armadillo Ale always raises a few eyebrows. Most people have never seen it.

I also prefer to make non-alcohlic drinks, but I have found Bart's Bloody Bane to be a crowd pleaser. If you really want to make an impression, perhaps Hot Tonics.

I like making Root Beer Floats, Iced Coffee, Egg Nog, and Cinnamon-Spiced Elven Tea

The various shakes are tasty too.

Slightly out of the box thinking here, but you can make some Green Body Paint. It's not drinkable, but you'll find other uses

As a background - it's part of druid epic 1.5 in making goblin disguise

Well in addition to to the QAT's, SRTJ's, various Taelosian and Iced Teas, I went with some Skunk Breath Ale, both kinds of Schnapps, some Egg Nog XXX, and some Ogre Swill. I spent about half an hour trying to round up the armadillo bits, but on a server with no newbies, there was no vendor diving to be had, and in Freeport, there were just too few armadillo's around to make it worth the effort (I was down to just a few hours before the party by this point, having blown most of the morning foraging aviak eggs and hunting skunk scent glands). Heck, I forgot to make the skull ale (despite having kept a skull on hand for a few years now), and I'm not sure if the green rangers ever got handed out. Oh, yeah, I made some Bart's Bloody Bane, because a guildmate was able to find me a stack of Bart's on a vendor-diving trip.

                  Thanks for the suggestions all!

I recently made some Bleeding Brains as an event prize for my guild -- a fun alcoholic drink.
